For the past few months, I’ve been sharing my must-have products — the things that I can’t live without.
And, in case you who didn’t catch it, I’ll admit that I completely dropped the ball on this series last month. October was BUSY and was over before I knew it! Oops!
So, this seemed like the perfect time to switch it up a bit and give these features a little more structure. These must-have posts, so far, have been somewhat all over the place. From household products to cosmetics, there hasn’t really been a rhyme or reason to what I share — it’s just products I’ve come to know, love, and trust.
Instead, I’ll be sharing products from a specific category each month. That way, you know what to expect when these posts come around and can easily find the products that resonate with you! Sounds good, right?

I have been obsessed with these new shirts from Old Navy. They are so incredibly soft and a super flattering. I’m pretty picky when it comes to the fit of my shirts. I have a fairly long torso, so finding shirts that are long enough can be a bit of a challenge. I also don’t like my shirts to hug too tightly, but I still want to see my shape.
These shirts are PERFECT. I ended up buying the same shirt in lots of colors because I love them so much. They can easily be dressed up or dressed down. They are a bit on the warm side so they are great for the cooler weather.
PYT Fast and Flawless Thermal Styling Brush
To be completely honest, I was not a fan of this when I first bought it. I was pretty attached to my InStyler, but decided to give this a shot because it looked like it might save some time and effort — plus there was a great deal on Zulily.
I tried this one time and immediately put it back in the drawer. Let’s just say that I don’t do well with change. 🙂 I knew better than to only try it once, but it sat in the drawer for several months before I pulled it back out again.
Now it’s one of my favorites! It did take some getting used to because it doesn’t brush through my hair as easily as a normal brush does. But, this is perfect when I want to quickly straighten my hair without having to put too much effort or thought into it — which, let’s face it, is most days for me. Also, if it helps to know, my hair has a lot of natural wave and is thick but extremely fine.
Pro tip: Don’t pay full price for this product. Keep an eye out for it on Zulily — I was able to get mine for only $30!
Nike Star Runner Tennis Shoes — Infant/Toddler
We love, love, love these new tennis shoes we got for JD. He spent most of the summer in his Nike sandals. We went to put on his Nike tennis shoes from the beginning of the summer and, of course, they were too small. This boy is growing like a weed. So, we had to find a new pair — and another pair of Nike tennis shoes was a no-brainer for us.
These are a new style they have out this fall (according to the store…I definitely don’t keep up with toddler shoe trends) and they are super cute and versatile. Plus, I have no plans on buying tennis shoes with laces anytime soon — the velcro is a lifesaver!
We recently started using Amazon Prime — and I’m hooked. We had previously been paying for Spotify Premium so that we could play music over our Sonos speakers. After looking into Amazon Prime, we quickly realized that we could be paying almost the same amount and get so much more than just music.
Amazon offers Prime members free two-day shipping, discounts on subscriptions, video streaming, photo storage, AND music. (There’s a lot of other stuff they offer, but these are the things we cared about.)
We tried it free for 30 days and ended up making the switch! We have our paper towels, diapers, wipes, toilet paper, and other items all on subscription — so they automatically ship (at a discount) to our house on a schedule. We’ve saved more money with this subscription setup alone than Prime costs each month!
So, I have a thing for drawer organizers. Weird, I know, but hear me out.
I hate when I open a drawer and stuff starts shifting and sliding all over the place. It doesn’t matter how neatly you place all of the items in a drawer — if it does not have drawer organizers, that stuff will get jumbled and messy after opening and closing the drawer a few times. This is especially true if you have a toddler who loves to open and close things over and over.
I bought these drawer organizers a few months ago at Target and I’m obsessed. I have them in several different sizes in our bathroom drawers, nightstands, and desks. They are great for keeping things tidy! Plus, I’m not a big fan of drawer organizers that feel bulky or don’t match the drawers, but these are slim and clear so they are a perfect fit.
I’ve been looking forward to the release of the Hearth and Hand™ brand for quite a while. One thing that was at the top of my list was the Letters to Santa Mailbox.
My mom was here visiting last weekend when they launched, so we went first thing that morning to try to snag one of them in-stores. Y’all, this mailbox is beautiful. It’s so well-made and the real deal. I was afraid it might be made out of thin metal that would warp over time or dent easily, but this thing is heavy-duty…and did I mention it’s beautiful? 🙂
I can’t wait to sit this up on our fireplace at Christmas and watch JD stuff it with letters to Santa for years to come.
